Fergus Cousland would be the rightful heir to the teyrnir if she had not done so.

The Couslands had ruled the teyrnir for hundreds of years after declaring independence from Amaranthine. At the start of the Fifth Blight, the family was slaughtered by Arl Rendon Howe. Fergus, who had already set out for Ostagar, was the only survivor.

The Dalish have set up a library in the keep proper, chiefly curated by Clan Ralaferin.
Clan Sulomnir is officially in charge.
Other clans present include Clan Mahariel, Clan Evathuri, and Clan Thanedhul (who is just camping on the edges trying to get the others to move).
